A painless, non-invasive, and radiation-free tool for early detection.
Did you know that breast thermography can detect early signs of cellular change by measuring subtle temperature variations in breast tissue? As abnormal cells grow, they increase blood flow and heat—thermography can detect these changes, often before a mass forms, making it a powerful early detection tool.
Thermography isn’t here to replace mammograms—but it’s an incredible complementary option. Some women find it to be a more comfortable screening tool that can offer earlier detection benefits. We especially recommend this for women who have dense breast tissue, a higher risk for breast cancer, breast implants or mastectomies, and for those who want to decrease radiation exposure.*
*There is not conclusive evidence to indicate that radiation exposure from mammograms leads to negative health outcomes; this is a personal preference issue and every woman should talk to her own healthcare provider about what screening tools are best for her.
Thermography is not an FDA approved alternative to mammography. It is FDA-cleared only as an adjunctive tool to be used alongside primary screening methods like mammography. Always discuss your unique health needs with your medical provider.

Financial assistance is available through the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) based on household income. Most grants range from $100–$250 to help offset out-of-pocket costs.
If UBCF is temporarily closed to applicants due to low funds, check back every other business day until applications reopen. Apply at least 2 weeks before your imaging appointment to allow time for processing.
Note: patients within three years of breast cancer treatment or remission may be eligible for additional support.
